    Product description

    • Orange flower water (org) is a natural aromatic extract derived from the bitter orange tree, intended for use in cosmetics. It features a floral scent, specifically blossom with a hint of orange. The aroma is not overpowering, and it is commonly used undiluted. It is typically used in low-alcohol products such as aftershave or eau de Cologne. By replacing a portion of the water in a cream or shampoo with orange blossom water, you can scent the product subtly and naturally. While it usually makes up between 5% and 50% of the final product, higher concentrations are perfectly acceptable; if necessary, it can even be applied directly to the skin without other additives. It blends well with citrus and floral fragrances, adding a lovely, natural, warm scent. In perfumery, it primarily serves as a heart note; it is reasonably stable, though other ingredients may be preferable for harsher products like soap. At room temperature, this organic orange blossom water appears as a pale yellow to yellow-orange liquid. It contains approximately 0.6% preservative, consisting of benzyl alcohol, dehydroacetic acid, and a small amount of water, which ensures a reasonably long shelf life.
