Our products are intended for making cosmetics, perfume, fragrance products, and/or for educational use. Below you will find general product information to supplement the product descriptions.

Please note!
Not every product we sell can be used for making cosmetics or perfume. Please refer to the product description and the category under which you can find this product. In case of doubt: send us an email and ask for advice.

What can you definitely NOT use our products for?

We do not sell products intended for internal use. Our products are not suitable for use in food, nor for use in animal feed. They are not suitable for injection or the production of injectable fluids. Our products are not suitable for self-care products intended for internal use. Special extra-pure and extra-controlled qualities are required for this, and we do not have those. Naturally, this also applies to medicines: we do not sell these, nor do we sell raw materials for their production. Our products are also not suitable for flavoring tobacco or assembling vapes. If you do use the products internally, you could suffer serious health damage. Therefore, be sure to look for another supplier if you are looking for products for internal use.

There is only one exception to this rule: for our ‘Educational set making tooth paste,’ for educational use, you can use our toothpaste making kit, as well as the substances contained within it, with the advice not to use the toothpaste, or to use it only once, specifically on the day it was made.

Hazardous substances

Several of the substances we sell are ‘hazardous substances’. These can be natural substances such as essential oils, and synthetic ones such as many fragrance molecules. Hazardous substances must be used with care and stored sensibly: out of the reach of children. Residues must be disposed of at an authorized processor, such as the municipality's chemical waste disposal desk.

Some hazardous substances may not simply be shipped; there are rules governing this. We have arranged this with our carrier for our own shipments, but it means that you may not be able to return a shipment (legally). See also the information regarding ADR shipments.

Shelf life

Many products have a limited shelf life. Unfortunately, we cannot specify this very precisely. We therefore advise against stocking up for years, unless you know that the product in question has a shelf life of several years.

Storage

In general, it is best to store the substances in a cool, dry, and dark place, in the tightly closed packaging. Cool means preferably at 16-18 °C. We advise against storing them in the refrigerator: some substances may be damaged there, including by condensation.
